Iced Earth - Festivals of the Wicked DVD (2009)
Submitted by mariam on Tue, 03/31/2009 - 08:54.In fall (probably September) 2009 Iced Earth will release a new DVD called Festivals of the Wicked. As Jon Schaffer himself said the DVD will contain Iced Earth's shows in Wacken 2007, Rock Hard 2008, Metalcamp 2008 and there will be some behind-the-scenes extra, videos from Framing Armageddon and the Glorious Burden era. "It's something that the fans would not typically see. It's going to have a Ross Halfin photo gallery. Rudy De Doncker from Belgium, who's done a lot of photos of the band through the years — we're going to have his photo gallery there too.

Samael - Above (2009)

Queensryche - American Soldier (2009)

The new Queensryche's album will be called American Soldier and it will be another concept album by the leading progressive metal band. The subject of American Soldier will be war and more specifically American wars from World War II. Queensryche's songwriter and singer Geoff Tate talked with many war veterans before writing songs for American Soldier. A part of American Soldier will be presented by Queensryche live during their tour in 2009. More news about American Soldier are to follow.

Kreator - Hordes of Chaos (2009)

The German thrash metal band had us waiting for a long time since 2005 and Enemy of God. So Kreator are now coming back with Hordes of Chaos, which will contain ten brand new tracks and it is going to be released on the 13th of January in North America, on the 16th of January in Germany and on the 19th of January in the rest of Europe. Right after the release of Hordes of Chaos, Kreator are starting their Chaos Over Europe 2009 tour, which will be followed by Hordes of Chaos North American Tour.
