Bleeding was the last studio album of the progressive metal band Psychotic Waltz, released in 1996. Although many progressive metal bands prefer more complex sound (Psychotic Waltz did so too in their previous releases: A social grace, Into the Everflow and Mosquito), Bleeding is a superb progressive metal work with simpler music. Great melodies and harder tunes join together in Bleeding with the harder tracks of the album being Morbid, Northern Lights and Skeleton. One of my favourite tracks of Bleeding is the very melodic My Grave in which the vocals of Buddy Lackey are accompanied by the lovely sound of Jethro Tull - like flute, plaid by the vocalist himself. Reminded me of the track I Rember from Psychotic Waltz's early album A social grace. I love what he still does with the flute in Deadsoul Tribe. No second thought, Psychotic Waltz's Bleeding goes in my top 5 progressive metal albums ever! Fav tracks: Locust, Morbid, Northern Lights, My Grave, Skeleton
